First off, thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I was fortunate to grow up in the beautiful state of Montana where I spent endless time learning to enjoy and respect the outdoors. My parents instilled at an early age to work hard and live life to the fullest. My sister and I were lucky enough to have an adolescence that consisted of naming the mountain goats that would frequent outside our tent while backpacking in Glacier National Park at an early age, or singing songs my mother made up as we formed a line skiing down the mountain. Currently I live in Bozeman with my husband Justin and adorable and very energetic dog Ginny. I am a physical therapist specializing in Women’s Health issues and general orthopedics and while I am very passionate about my profession I have always been drawn to writing thus my interest in starting a blog. One of my favorite quotes is by the great writer and philosopher Voltaire which states, “I have decided to be happy because it is good for my health”. Everyday this quote is not far from my mind. I am fortunate to be very healthy but I think it has to do with the amazing family, friends and beauty of life that I have been able to be encompassed with.
